Lem Lian (Meng Lian) is a multi-award-winning visual artist, illustrator, and graphic designer who is based in Nova Scotia, Canada. 
Lem’s work is inspired by her life of peregrination and multiple attendant cultures. Her subject matter tends to be fragmented passages of the in-between spaces of transient, bittersweet episodes. She paints in a narrative poem language, aiming to diversify the cognizance of impermanence. Her art explores the connection between the ephemeral world and everything subliminal, forgotten, and repressed in an individual's life.

廉萌，生于中国，现居加拿大哈利法克斯，毕业于诺瓦艺术与设计大学。从事个人艺术创作、商业插画、平面设计与艺术教育工作。作品在加拿大、英国、美国、德国、日本、中国、比利时等国际大赛中多次获奖并举办展览。

她的作品融合了个人游历与随之而来的不同文化。她创作的主题是关于凝留那些苦乐参半而又转瞬即逝的人生碎片。她以叙事诗作为绘画语言来探索蜉蝣世界与个人情感意识的联系，旨在对无常的认知多样化。黑白与线的叙事是廉萌的插画风格，而她在综合颜料创作时善于运用明亮而复古的色调，每一幅画面都富有线索并充盈着文学性的色彩。
